nan's visit - all the way from england

dad had been telling me for quite a long time that nanny england was coming. i was very excited. i'd been doing my research: beer, british bulldog, tattoos, rain in summer, sarcasm and cockney rhyming slang.

it sounded so exotic.

what dad didn't tell me was how much englanders like to cuddle and how interesting their voices are.

i think dad was a little bit surprised at the strange noises nanny made from time to time.

Nanny England

march -3rd girl's day

it's an important time for us ladies, even if we're not quite sure what is going on.

we get dressed up and pose in front of a box with dolls in it. apparently they are the emperor and empress.

quite what they're doing gazing at a couple of plastic trees nobody knows.

but it improves my chances of marrying if i gaze at them gazing at the plastic trees.

most of march really...

i spent quite a lot of march loungin for no particular reason.

mum wished i would lounge for more than 10 minutes at a time as her nerves were getting a bit frayed.

dad liked these times too. he liked to get his camera out and catch me at my 'dribbly' moments.

early april - sakura season

i got to see some lovely sakura in march and april. mum dressed me up in pink lots too.

i think it was the sakura wave sweeping across japan and her mind too.

still, i didn't mind at all - pink is my favourite colour.

may - good weather

dad said the weather in japan during may is like an english summer. so i got the big people to take me out for a jaunt in the country.

we went to a place to see the seto naikai. it was beautiful from the top of the mountain.

Sun and Gurning

late may - martial art training..... matrix style

i've been putting in some practice with the local aikido and karate clubs. been staying up and watching some matrix too.

tell me what you think about my 'faster than the human eye' moves. if i get too fast i flip into another dimension...

throughout may - press ups and the need to crawl

been trying to get the hang of this crawling thing. dad got me set up on a push-ups and sit-ups regime.

after a while i got quite good at that, but this crawling thing is harder than it looks.
