Meet the Tutors
Tim Cleminson
Hi there. I'm Tim and I'm one of the tutors of the English and 
Culltural courses in the Secretarial Management Department.
Outside of English I'm into loads of different things. I really like photography and though I'd like to do more arty and creative stuff, I spend most of my time taking photos of my young family.
I'm also into Japanese comics (manga) in a big way. Inachu Takkyu Bu is a classic and a new manga I've found really interesting recently is Homonculus.
I'm also into yon coma manga (4 scene comic pieces). Top of the yon coma managa list for me is Yoshida Sensha. His antenna are firmly pointed at the surreal nature of sempai-kohai relationships in Japan.
I've lived in Japan for around 5 years now. I think I've got used to many of the things I initially felt were strange here. I even eat nattto (fermented soy beans) and umeboshi (sour pickled plums), so I guess lots of other stuff must have changed as well...I wouldn't be surprsed if I bowed when I talked on the phone these days! A colleague always tell me I should keep a diary of all the weird things I notice, but, though I know he's right, I think it's already too late.
